Entering our fourth year in 2012, Arth Capital Consulting is dedicated to enhancing the overall planning process, execution, and experience for your team and your attendees. Our executive team provides relevant experience in all aspects needed to execute a successful meeting or convention.

Laura Arth, Founder, has 19 years of hospitality industry experience ranging from personalized sales, direct marketing, advertising, strategic planning, and specialized programming to detailed event execution. Laura spent 11 years at Associated Luxury Hotels International and served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing and was their National Sales Person of the year in 2004 and in 2005. She has been active in the American Society of Association Executives Springtime Committee and chaired GWSAE's Professional Women’s Forum from 1998 - 2000. In 2001, Laura was named GWSAE's business partner of the year. Laura serves on the Executive Committee of the University Club Foundation Board where she chairs the Scholarship Program and Fundraising Program and has served on the Club’s Board of Governors. She is a member of the James Madison University Hospitality Advisory Board and has Co-Chaired their primary fund raising event for the last three years. Laura graduated from the University of Nebraska with a BS in International Business and is an avid Husker footfall fan.

Diane Hartmann joined the organization with 34 years of past service at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Diane is a highly accomplished senior manager with proven experience managing large, diverse and complex conferences and events. She has experience in operations, program development and implementation, meeting and convention planning, adaptive sports events, sponsorships programs, dedication ceremonies and presidential protocol. As the Director of National Programs and Special Events, she was responsible for the direction and overall management of VA’s National Rehabilitation Special Events, VA’s participation in national memorial, and commemorative events, including the annual national celebration of Veterans Day at Arlington National Cemetery. She has developed and implemented highly successful national marketing and public affairs plans. Her contacts cross all levels of government, veterans service organization, civic groups, private corporations and hospitality service providers. Diane is the proud mother of two adult sons and a life-long Washington, DC region resident.

Helen Mathews is a 10 year veteran of the Washington, DC political arena. Her most recent experience includes management of national fundraising for senatorial and gubernatorial candidates as well as fundraising at the Republican Governors Association and at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Helen is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a BBA in Marketing. She is a past member of the UGA Alumni Board and is active in the Washington, DC community.

Arth Capital Consulting was pleased to be awarded the 2010 James Madison University Hospitality Program's Corporate Citizenship Award. ACC joins past awardees and industry giants U.S. Chamber of Commerce and RSVP Catering in receiving this award. Arth Capital Consulting is a national member of the US Chamber of Commerce, Alexandria Convention & Visitors Association, and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
